I think it's important to understand that no matter what your CL is, your collection will always have value to this game. I come from a TCG like Weiss Schwarz (WS), an anime card game that has tons of animes and has been out since 2008. WS is great at making new cards that support existing anime titles and sometimes makes those older cards even stronger. It's especially exciting to see when some of the earliest animes in WS receive support as it shows the tcg still cares about their existing fans.
TLDR; What I'm getting at is even though there are always adding new cards in Snap, the cards you already have will always be of value to you. As new cards get added to Snap, there's always something to look forward to in deckbuilding. While it is discouraging that new cards are harder to obtain when they initially release, it kind of makes you appreciate the wins you earn with what you got and you also have a better understanding of cards you've been playing (their synergies with other cards, interactions with locations, etc.).
