Would appreciate some advice on how to go about getting 7*r3s for valiant 🙏🏾

First of all i thought i had to complete Act 8.4 but i just so happened to check my progress and it said 8.3 😭 i was so relieved.

But basically now im stuck with all 7*r1s and i feel like its going to take a long time to get those r3s.

My question is, do i

A) Level up my 6*s to complete events like Autumn of Agony and Saga incursions, to get 7 star 1-2 rank up gems and other materials? Or

B) Just save my materials and buy from BGs store and glory store to take my 7*s to r3?

Id appreciate the help so so much. I wanna get Val before banquet event.
