Will someone explain to me the role of Banner Jr. in Nu-World during Hickman's Fantastic Four 570-587 and thereabouts?

I've learned to be patient and let Hickman expand on ideas for most of my burning questions, but I have a feeling this strange Hulk Banner Jr. character is from a different issue or an earlier run or something. It bothers me because he's just...there during all these crazy events, and everybody seems to ignore him for the most part, or only half-acknowledge him.
