Unfortunately Agent Carter is no more, the TV show is over and I doubt any amount of petitioning will save it. That being said, I think Agent Carter would be perfect to continue as the first MCU serial comic series.
Agent Carter still has a colossal story to tell, as we know she goes on to found the SHIELD organisation, this is clearly a big hole in the timeline of the MCU and the comics would be a great way of telling this. Having the medium of comics they would be able to tell the story on a global scale without the huge budget that goes with it, and bring back all the WW2-era characters like Howard Stark, Arnim Zola and even Hank Pym without working around the schedules of such busy actors.
We know that the comics can't be used to promote the films and shows, however they can promote the comics, and this could be a good move on Marvel's part to use Carter as a way to introduce the MCU fans to the comics and get them to love both.
