This story arc was probably one of the most saddest and the most tragic stories in Marvel. Not only Peter got shot trying to save Captain America from the Punisher, (Anybody know why he was trying to kill him?) but he also didn't get help from the Ultimates when he was in a dire situation.

The battle between Peter and Norman was one for the ages as it was the fight to the death where Peter was willing to do anything to protect his family and make sure that they were safe, and the moment you think where Peter wins, the truck explodes and Peter dies from the impact.

And poor Aunt May, my heart was aching and breaking for her. Not only she lost her dear husband, but she also lost her beloved nephew who gave up his life to protect them. Peter went out like a hero, but man...it was tragic to see my favorite incarnation of Spidey die like that.

One of the best things that I read from Marvel, but it's just really sad and tragic at the same time.
