We honestly don't fully know what to expect from his new world but most people are speculating that it's going to be our beloved heroes from the 616 w/Miles relocating to this new universe.
So this is my question: If this is the case, I think the characters retain their memories before Secret Wars. But what about the CIVILIANS of this new universe?
If Marvel's claiming that they're starting off a clean slate with this world, does that mean the people won't remember previous events like Infinity, Axis, Original Sin, AvX, Fear Itself on and on, but most importantly of all, will they not remember that Civil War happened?
Because if the characters remember being part of those events, but the people have no memory of it all, I'd be ok with that. I'd be ESPECIALLY ok with the people not remembering that Civil War happened, because as entertaining that event was, it damaged some of the characters' personas in my opinion. (Insert that infamous Spidey event here)
Also, if people don't remember those events, I think it gives writers a unique new ideas to come up with different status quos for the characters (While maintaining the true essence of the characters of course COUGH COUGH SPIDER-WOMAN). And it gives new fresh ideas for the writers to play with while still maintaining the previous history through the characters that will exist in this new world.
