I was thinking about this recently while watching What If?… So vibranium is a metal and all metals conduct heat and electric currents. We know that vibranium can absorb kinetic energy in Black Panther’s suite and it doesn’t obey the laws of physics, per Captain America’s shield. But I’m genuinely curious to know if it’s in hot water, would it burn to touch. The reason I ask this is the shower scene with Bucky in episode 5. Bucky’s arm is made of Vibranium, so if he took a hot shower with it on, would it burn him if he touched it? I know the logical answer is that he could take it off to shower, but I don’t think he could take the original arm off, the one he got from Hydra. I’m pretty sure that was vibranium too, right?
