For the past six months, my husband and I have barely touched each other, and it’s breaking my heart. We used to have a passionate, connected intimacy that felt like the foundation of our love. Now, it feels like we’re just coexisting.
We don’t fight, but the silence is louder than any argument we could have. I’ve tried initiating—small touches, compliments, even outright asking—but he always seems too tired, distracted, or uninterested. I’m left feeling unwanted and confused.
I know relationships go through phases, but I miss feeling desired. I miss the closeness we once had. Is this normal? How do I bring up the topic without making him feel pressured or defensive?
If anyone has been through this, I’d love your advice. How do we reignite the spark we once had?
