When my father died, my wife suggested that my mother comes to live with us. That was 15 years ago. My mom is now 70 and very ill. My wife has been such an angel to accept my mom's presence all these years and I am forever in debt to her. My mom isn't a bad person and doesn't put her nose in our business. Leaving our home to live on her own has become a no-go lately.

We also have one teenage child.

But when it comes to sex: we have a good sex life -> in the privacy and darkness of our silent nights.

We must ensure all residents go to bed and that my mom is actually sleeping, otherwise, it just feels so weird because our house is small and her bedroom is beside ours. We usually have sex 1-2 times a week, but it is so that it happens at midnight in darkness and we must keep it extremely quiet.

We use toys, but very silent vibrators for example and also under thick blankets. We don't even sleep naked anymore.

It is our bedroom of course :) and we close the door, but there are for example times when my mother suddenly decides to stroll around the house at 1:00am because her blood sugar is too low and she must eat. When you know a sick adult is wondering around and you are having fun behind a closed door, it just kills the mood :(

We tell each other that it feels like a chore, our sexy time almost never happens out of the blue and sometimes there is no excitement.

I continously look for ways to keep the sex exciting and joyful for my wife (and us), because it is due to MY mother that we are in this situation.

Do you have any suggestion how I can keep making our sex happy, joyful, exciting and fulfilling (I am more concerned about keeping my wife happy than myself)?
