Reddit has its own set of rules for removing comments. I'm not completely sure what they are but they seem to remove short comments and comments containing the word DM. They may also remove comments containing PM or other variations of the idea to contact you. When we catch these removals we try to reverse them but it's not 100% effective.
To avoid this I'd suggest making your comment much longer and use the phrase contact me rather than one of the abbreviations.
