I don't want to change your situation, but I'd love to take some of your time this Friday and see where things could go. Here I am, working from home and looking forward to the weekend, hoping to find someone special to chat with and get to know better. The warm weather and the start of baseball season have given me a bit of spring fever and a desire to embrace all the fun life has to offer!
I'm a 50-year-old guy, standing 5'10" with hazel eyes, short dark hair, and an average build. I've lived all over the United States, and I now call central Virginia (#RVA) home. My work in healthcare research keeps me busy, and though I'm seldom bored, I often find myself looking for a welcome distraction to take a break and enjoy the company of someone new.
When I'm not working, you'll find me staying active or playing the role of the family taxi, shuttling my kids to their various activities and often waiting in parking lots. It would be great to have someone to break up the monotony of those times—someone to chat with and have a little fun.
A little about what I enjoy when I'm not working: - Playing pickleball, tennis 🎾, or hiking - Catching live concerts (I recently scored tickets to see Chris Stapleton!) - Taking road trips and exploring new places—I'd love to travel coast-to-coast - Enjoying cozy movie nights, whether it's a romcom or an action-adventure flick - Building various Lego projects, especially the architecture ones, like the Mona Lisa and Starry Night
While things at home aren't awful, they do lack a certain spark that leaves me wondering if there's more to life out there. Though I've posted a couple of times before, it seems people either didn't match my energy, or things just naturally ran their course. Despite that, I'm not giving up on finding that special connection.
I'm looking for someone who is kind, enjoys staying active, and is open to new experiences—someone who might feel overlooked or unseen at home.
To get things started, how about these questions: - What is the best concert you have been to? - If you could hop in the car and go on a spontaneous road trip right now, where would you go and why?
If you've read this far, why not shoot me a direct message or a chat? You never know what will happen!
Hope to hear from you soon!
Let me know if there's anything else you'd like to add or change!
