Hey Z, hiding your name for protection
I hope this message finds you well. I’m not sure if you’re still around, but I couldn’t help reaching out. You’re the Canadian engineer I had that amazing connection with about a year ago. We only got to talk for a few days, but it felt like we hit it off right away. Unfortunately, I had to disappear suddenly due to some health issues, and I ended up having to delete the Reddit account we used to communicate on. I feel terrible about that, honestly, and I’ve been kicking myself ever since for not being able to explain myself sooner.
Since then, I’ve been trying to reconnect with you through the account I messaged you on before, but I haven’t heard anything. We had so many good times during those late-night shifts—so many laughs, jokes, and even sharing some music. I’ll never forget the toothbrush moment… that one still cracks me up 🤫.
Z, I know this might be a long shot, but if you’re out there and still remember our talks, I would love to reconnect. If you’re reading this and thinking this might be a sign he’s not coming back, well… it seems like he might not be. But if by any chance you’re still around, please reach out to me.
