Last year I changed jobs and started to work from home. I had a really awesome female friend that was my “work wife” and we did everything together. People even thought we were together. My actual wife worked at the same company so that didn’t happen. Anyway, we were like the same person. We all the same dirty jokes. Same flirty attitude. It was awesome.
Now that I work from home, I don’t get that anymore. She was the one I could talk to when my marriage sucked (it often does) and she talked to me about her crazy ex and the struggles of a single mom.
I would like to find someone like that again. Yes, I’ll admit I had some feelings for her and definitely thought about taking it further. Someone with my sense of humor, someone to talk to about life, someone to flirt with, and maybe one day, meet irl.
About me: I’m 38, married (obviously), kids, career, beard, and everyone I’ve sent pics to says I’m handsome. I’m a photographer by trade and enjoy being outdoors, sports, cooking, music, driving my truck, and being a smartass.
You: Someone who aligns with me. Someone who can be themselves. Have an opinion. Have something interesting to say about whatever. Playful banter. Being a flirt. I don’t have a specific body type. A mom bod matches my dad bod.
To try and filter out the one message gang, tell me something interesting that you have done in life. I’ll start, I sang the National Anthem on the ice for the Red Wings while I was still in the army. Your turn.
