I’m 47 and based in Ohio. While being nearby makes meeting easier, it’s not a requirement if we connect in other ways. I work in a creative field, where I balance the excitement of new projects with the occasional demands of clients and tight deadlines. I try to maintain a work-life balance, but sometimes the nature of my work keeps me on my toes.
I do travel for work, mostly Chicago and New York.
I’m in a dead bedroom with a woman who is a wonderful partner in many ways. We have a strong bond, and I fully see us growing old together, but there’s little chemistry in that area. Perhaps it will change when the kids move out, but for now, I miss feeling desirable and connected in that way. There’s no anger or blame in our situation; it simply is what it is.
Most of my hobbies revolve around creative pursuits, and I love traveling. I’m someone who might spontaneously book a flight when I find a deal—last year, I spent a week walking the streets of Paris. Fitness is also a growing focus for me. I currently weigh around 250 lbs but aim to get closer to 210 by eating better and lifting weights. I’d like to feel more confident and proud of myself as I grow older.
I’ve often been described as someone who asks great questions, driven by my genuine curiosity and interest in other people. I value honesty, loyalty, clear boundaries, and open communication in all relationships. I’m seeking someone who finds joy in meaningful conversation and who will challenge and inspire me to grow.
I want a relationship where we help each other thrive and feel supported. I’m open to exploring nearly anything, starting with phone conversations that feel natural and unforced. Whether it’s discovering new places, trying new things, or building a connection based on mutual respect, I’m excited to see where this journey leads.
If you’ve read this far, I’d love to hear from you. Sharing a photo isn’t necessary, but it will get mine in return.
