You’re in the habit of waking up early because it’s the only peaceful time you get. Make some coffee, play some Wordle, and just relax… but the chaos is coming and you know it. The toddler will be up soon, and you’ll have to get him ready for daycare. Your partner will tend to themselves and then fly out the door for the day, leaving you to work and to do most of the household chores. The kids come home and you get everything handled with them, then make dinner and get a little bit of conversation before turning in for the night. You feel almost like ships passing in the night and your requests for more… time, attention, help… they just fall on deaf ears. And weekends? Mostly errands and watching the kid(s) until everyone passes out from exhaustion.
I get it. I’m there with you. I have the antidote as well, but it’s a two part serum, and I need your part too to make it work. Let’s light the fuse on a slow burn and see where it takes us.
