Wondering if my connection is out there.
I picture her browsing reddit, tired of feeling this obtrusive malaise of being alone in a crowded life. She's married. She loves her husband but doesn't want to leave because why the fuck not? She's allowed to have her reasons. Maybe she has kids, maybe she doesn't. She's wanting a guy who is dominant but not oppressive. A man who is in touch with his own feelings but doesn't emotionally dump on her. A man who is discreet but values honesty.
She's into music. She loves to read. She loves to see the outside and enjoy the smell of the woods or sand between her toes but also values the feeling of a warm blanket, a hot beverage, and a night in, watching TV. She's busy but will make time for someone who's worth it because she's worth it. She's cute, even if in a married neighbor type of way. She can be frumpy but still looks like a million buck in the morning.
She likes a guy who has tattoos. Maybe he has a beard? He's professional and looks good in a suit. He's also craving attention like she is. He's in a happy marriage but there is more to life than just happy marriages. She's eager to see what he looks like and catch the feelings and the flirting but knows it takes time and she doesn't want to rush it.
She's wanting to give in to someone. To feel the emotions. She wants to feel independant but also to be possessed entirely by another person. She wants to have a reason to daydream again. She wants to have a reason to smile at her phone screen once more.
She's hovering over this username, wondering should she initiate a chat or a DM. She should.....
