Here is my satirical look into possibly a males day on reddit.

8:40 AM - Sit down in front of computer, ready to start work day but not quite yet. Open reddit. See if there are any messages from a previous post.. unlikely. Open up existing contact(s) (if any), write good morning!

Do work

Next break: Open up online affairs, the F4M post de jour comes up with the highest vote count. Why bother reading this I ask? This person must already have 100-200 messages in her DM's by now, AND a couple of comments where guys saying something along the line of ..."Great post. You are exactly what I wanted! Dmed you" (I'm sure that works!) . If this post had read , "F4M" with no body the comment would be the exact same. I MAY read this post just for entertainment value, but no way will I DM or comment.

Next break: Debate whether or not to write own post. Do I have a catchy title ready? Will M4F Desperate work? Probably not. Come up with something more whimsical (That's a fun word) I think to MAYBE get few clicks from the long time lurkers. Then there is the BODY of the e-mail....how much to say ? Do I go with the classic lines like....Not going to change your situation or mine or I've never done a post like this before.... or Mayyyybe I write a cool list of things about me or things I like. What will work?

10 AM - Decide and post. Hit refresh for the next hour ...wondering if a.) will people downvote me for no reason( I mean why?) and b.) maybe my reddit just isn't working and needs to be refreshed.

11 AM - Say reddit is just overrun by guys and yell SCREW IT, I'm never checking again.

Noon - Decide to check ONE more time because what else I am going to do? Work?

12:30-3:00 PM- Someone answered! yay! Go through basic questions....maybe have some banter. This girl is the one!

3:00 PM - Sign off for the day making sure to tell this woman I'll be back later, then do some adulting and pretend to be normal in real life.

9:00 PM - Come back on, see if the woman that is the one is still around. Nope she has moved on. Bummer. Profile no longer works or is suspended! It's probably because conversation was so good the guilt became too much and they had to re-examine life choices.

Next Day - Repeat on different account with same post...its going to be better the next day!
