This post isn't that unique. In fact, I read a post this morning that borderline looked like I could have written it. Does that mean the person saw a prior post of mine and plagiarized? Or vice-versa? Probably not. There's a lot of us in these subreddits and groups of us are looking for the same thing and other groups are looking for other things. The words, the posts, the situations all sound familiar, even when they aren't.
But the exercise is one in packaging or marketing - how do you make yourself sound attractive or intriguing to someone? To craft the words that will grab someone's attention. It's really hard because the reader determines the interest not so much the writer. You could write a Pulitzer prize worthy post and it goes by without a second glance and then you can throw a bunch of hastily cobbled together sentences and you get a gazzilion responses. There are no rules, there is no guide.
There's no point here. I'm just rambling a bit. As my name suggests, I've done this before and look back fondly on the OA that I had. Can the magic strike again, who knows?
My age is listed in the title and I'm trying to still hold it together - exercise, yoga, outdoor activities. And so there are no surprises, I've lost the battle with my hair. We had a good run.
I like to go to concerts and see live music. Let's learn about other interests. I like to see life through perspective and think I'm relatively laid back. I'm looking for a fun relationship. Laughs and smiles are important!
Let's chat.
