Been lurking and chatting and posting and still seeking a connection with a lady who is funny, easy going, imaginative, somewhat liberal and arty - and maybe has some steam to blow off with salacious chat :)

What have I learnt ?

Variety is the spice of life and life can be very spicy ! Listen, don't project, and respect each other's boundaries. People are different, that's what makes it fun, just don't judge. Don't force it, nothing wrong with a “quicky” but if you want it to last then start slow and gradually turn the heat up. Don't be afraid to say “bye” if it isn't working. But say it, don't ghost it ! Communicate and ask if it doesn't make sense. It's hard enough in real life trying to connect with someone, online it's a nightmare - no nonverbal cues to pick up on, some of the time you're not even really sure who or what you're chatting to !

Here's my pitch:

I think everyone starts looking for something, gets tempted by something else and maybe eventually settles on something completely different. If you are reading this, then the odds are that you want to change something in your life and add some fun, excitement and interaction with someone new.

Mundane facts: 61, male, married (so discretion is important), still friends, definitely not lovers, kids, dogs, ..

Slightly more interesting: live in Belgium but have lived and travelled the world. Timezones can be a pia but where there's a will there's a way. Real-time dialogue is great, so is waking up, checking, chortling and hiding my phone.

I'm curious, adventurous, creative, inventive, opinionated, adaptable, flexible, and open to pretty much any kind of interaction so long as it doesn't involve children, animals, non-consent, degradation or is life threatening !

OAs are much like real life - there is the thrill of the new and illicit (beware of the NRE ! ) some days you just want to share feel good vibes or maybe get some empathy, other days you want to give or receive "a quickie", somewhere between a smouldering fire and a volcanic eruption.

Much prefer Telegram to here, over there I'll happily share SFW and if the mood takes NSFW content, without the real life pleasures of touch and taste, we need verbal and visual :)

Long term ? Well who knows ! Better to have loved and lost … Is a long slow burn better than a forest fire ? How about a smoulder with occasional flare-ups? Maybe we just manage one round of S’mores - is that a bad thing ?
