I fucked up and I’m not sure how to proceed. For context, I had an IRL affair several years back that ended a couple years ago. I’ve been on Reddit for many years and only recently discovered these subs.

Several months ago I met a girl on Reddit and we hit it off well but I ended things. Long story, will spare the details for the sake of this post. About a week ago I made a post on here looking for her. Unexpectedly, another woman responded asking if I was only searching for her or if I was open to meeting other people. I happily obliged and started chatting with her. Let’s call her “E”. I instantly fell hard for E and could not believe I had found her (or that she found me). I never thought I would meet someone again who checked all the boxes and would make me so happy and be exactly what I had been looking for ever since my first affair. The woman I was seeing in my first affair was amazing, but she was older by about 12 years and her kids were older as well.

But this girl E was perfect. She was around my age, had kids the same age as me, had a sweet personality, was beautiful, going thru the same stages of life as I was, and was genuine and everything you’d hope for in the perfect woman.

Here’s where I fucked up. I work from home 100% full remote. Right after E and I started connecting, I had to go into the office for the first time ever in 2 years. I had told E I would still be available to chat and unfortunately I wasn’t. However, later that day when I left the office we exchanged voice messages on the drive home and things seemed to still be clicking. Later that night I got busy and was not able to chat when I had indicated I would be. Because of this, she pulled back and things went downhill. We proceeded to argue over the next couple of days, deleting our Telegram chats, I made a post on Reddit venting about how I had been treated and she blocked me on Reddit. The next day she unblocked me and proceeded to apologize. We both did. We agreed that our communication was terrible and that we fucked up. Now she is silent. And I know she’s posted again on Reddit looking for other guys.

TLDR: I found the perfect girl, climbed to the peak of the mountain and found myself in the lowest of valleys within like 3-4 days. I want her back. I don’t believe I’m blocked and I’m not sure how to proceed.
