I’m in a very functional marriage and I love my family so I’m in the same « don’t want to change situation » boat than most people here.

Happy to elaborate more but I am in a quasi-DB/roommate situation which is probably beyond repair at this point in time. Which is why I am here.

I have had experiences - some good, some bad - but have never really found the low risk / high stability situation I am looking for. I will also say that I expect to hang out with someone who feels good about this lifestyle. In my case, it has definitely brought more positives than negatives and I am looking for the same. I’m a good looking, well educated and affluent suburban dad who will want to make sure that you’re always in a great place with me.

The perfect « situation » would ideally feature (although not restricted to):

• A stable and regular relationship. Sex is great, but I would not bother this much if it were just about that

• Someone 25-40. And sorry to put it this way but be pretty, please. I’m conventionally and physically attractive myself and am primarily looking for the same.

• I am looking for someone local, or often times in NYC and/or surrounding areas. I have played the long distance game and it’s created more frustrations than necessary.

• A recent discovery; which has made this process more complicated, is that I am more attracted to woman who are clever and (very) educated. I know, it tragically narrows the field of possible. Wish me luck.

• I don’t care if you’re stay at home or have a career. I have a successful and demanding one but I have found interest in both sides of the aisle.

• Bonus point if you read several books per month. It’s generally a good sign that we will get along. While I am proverbially into sports, cars and all that jazz, I do have a geeky side that comes in option.
