So it's been a little while since I posted here... nothing has changed at this end, so here we go again, I guess.

My biggest requirement at the moment is that I need to feel seen, and I need to feel like someone could possibly be attracted to me. Is that two requirements? I don't know. After 25 years of marriage and about 16 years of whatever this is [gestures broadly at everything in the vicinity], I just know that there's more to life than being a housemate and a subordinate.

About me:
* I'm tall - about 6 ft 3. Some people seem to appreciate that.
* I'm also bald, and wear glasses. That might cancel out the first point, but I'm aiming for full disclosure here.
* Hobbies include binging true crime stuff on Netflix, singing and playing guitar and posting embarrassing videos of it on Facebook, running my mouth, trawling through second-hand record and book stores, road trips, inserting movie quotes and song lyrics into conversations (and Reddit post titles), and being a bit of a silly goose in general.
* I'm looking for a friend with benefits, but the friend part is really important. We can build up to the other stuff.
* I promise that I will never send you a picture of any of my less reputable appendages.

About you:
* Who am I to tell you what you should be?
* Okay, fine. Ideally, you'll be between 40 and 55, and in a similarly dead-bedroom situation to me. If you happen to be outside that age bracket but have no problem with my age, shoot your shot.
* For timezone purposes, please be in Australia. Also, it makes it easier to meet up later if there's a spark.
