I cannot believe I am almost 42 years old. I remember making fun of people who were in the their 40’s. I thought it would never come, but here I am rocking it. I actually don’t mind being almost 42, but I hate the greying hair on the sides of my head. I don’t like how I feel after a good hard workout (sore the next day), but I definitely don’t ‘feel’ like I am in my 40’s. I would definitely not want to repeat my 20’s, that is for sure!

I am in pretty good shape I would say. I mean, I can always be better, but I am constantly working on it, especially within the past few months. I recently have built a home gym and it has been great. Sometimes it is hard to get motivation all by myself, so you wanna help with that? I don’t have any hot mamas to impress at the gym — like anyone is really looking at a 41 yo with greying hair anyway? Although if Hugh Jackman was working out, I can guarantee most of you ladies would be eyeing him up and down! If only all I had was three hours a day to workout, then maybe I could look like that. But you know, I actually have to work and be a Dad, so…yea…there is that. Eating healthy food is important to me. I can’t explain how we allow the poisons in our processed food to be allowed into our food supply when every other developed nation bans it. That is frustrating to me.

I am 6’1” and some have cared how tall I am. Like it really matters, right? I mean this is all online anyway…I don’t get that requirement for men to be a certain height here. Personally, I don’t care how tall you are. But I do care how you look, maybe….possibly…more than I should. I am not into the whole BBW or thicc. Just not my type sorry. Everyone’s beauty preferences are different, so I will just leave it at that. I have blue eyes and don’t care what color yours are. I have an athletic build (what the heck does that even mean anyway???), with an almost six pack. I think I officially have a two pack now. Soooo close. I hope you like to share pictures; both the SFW and NSFW (if we ever get comfortable enough with each other). I like to see who I am texting, it helps make it feel a bit more real.

I enjoy running and just being active. My kids keep me very busy with all their activities. It is a workout just to keep up with them! I love being a Dad and being involved. Is there really anything better in life than have your four year old running up to you after work and giving you a hug hug welcoming you home??? He has this funny thing where he has to be first to give me a hug, so when I come home, I run to avoid hugs from everyone else so he can be first. It is a big game in our house when I come home from work!

Do you have anything that just bugs you? The little annoyances of life that really shouldn’t bother you, but they really do? Like when you pull a sticky tag from a product you just bought and it leaves a little sticky residue. Or when people smoking their cigarette and throw the butt on the ground and smash it with their foot. Come on, just use the garbage. I feel the same way about people throwing their gum on the ground too. People who litter are just lazy, and I don’t do laziness well. Don’t get me started on driving. The Slow driver person, at least go the speed limit! The terrible parking person, who parks on the line, so no one can park next to them. The forever turn signal person, who has their blinker on driving down the highway and forgot to turn it off 5 miles ago when they passed a semi. Don’t get me started about bad driving.

I like movies and tv shows, although I think the more appropriate term for what we use to call TV shows is series. Does that show how old I am if I still call a series a TV show? Is it crazy I use to play around on a typewriter? I told one of my kids the other day that they sounded like a broken record, and they looked up at me and said, “What is a record?” I used to talk on the phone that was once attached to a wall and my parents used to get mad at me when I would spend hours talking to Whitney on the telephone in 8th grade and no one else could get though because of the “busy signal.” I remember we had one TV in the house, and my grandparents would come and visit and my grandpa would hog the TV watching old time shows when I just wanted to watch cartoons.
