There’s a beautiful fall chill on tonight, I’m home alone, and I’m lonely. I finally have some time to myself, and I want to spend that time talking to someone new.
I’m not looking for anything earth-shattering, not trying to change my situation or anyone else’s, not aiming for passion or pleasure or even necessarily romance — just connection.
I want the attention of someone bright, thoughtful, interested; someone willing to have a conversation and willing to let that conversation pause if needed. We may not be best friends, or perfectly romantically compatible, but it won’t matter because we are connecting — and that’s what really matters.
Here’s hoping we can meet, and stay up a bit too late talking.
About Me: 35M, married, 1 kid, Eastern Time Zone. I enjoy reading, video games, Lego, ice hockey, baking bread, board games, and dogs. I’m passionate, invested, willing to listen, and honest. I go for quantity over quality in dad jokes and I’m known to talk for way too long about my latest hyperfixation.
About You: Enthusiastic about life, and about starting a conversation; willing to respect boundaries; late 20s to early 40s, but 30s preferred.
