Hello there,

Its Wednesday morning here in South Africa, and for me Wednesdays have become Monster day. I know that this sounds super exciting or super exotic. BUT..... its the day on which I allow myself to have a Monster (anti-climax emoji needed).

I really enjoy energy drinks but I have limited myself to two a week one on Wednesday and one on Saturday. Yes yes, I know they are really bad for me but I don't smoke, or drink, or drive really fast so I need to do something to ensure that I don't out live my life savings.

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results" is often attributed to Albert Einstein, but according to Gemini there is no evidence that he ever said it. Point is that I am posting again hoping to find the one.
- I am not sure if this is the one as in the Matrix, or the one as in one of those novels you find at the Crazy Store. I know that situations dictate that we wont be each other's one and only but don't shoot down my post :).

So who am I in a few words? I love expressing myself, whether it's through writing, actions, or simply being of service to someone I care about. I truly thrive when I feel like I'm contributing to a partnership where we both value and appreciate each other. I do know that I can be a bit clingy and I do find that I get on a lot better with people that are "clingy" in return.

I have a love for animals. My small home has been taken over by birds, dogs, a cat, and even a little red lobster! I was never a cat person – actually, I used to despise them – but this little rescue has completely stolen my heart.

I'm playful and competitive. I'd love a partner who can challenge me in a game of chess, Scrabble, or anything else we can play across the distance. Or maybe you're a bookworm? We could share a virtual book club, discussing plots and characters (and maybe even placing a friendly wager on whodunnit!).

I'm tall and brown (its okay if you stopped reading here, we won't judge), with a son who's the absolute best part about me. He says I'm so tall I can touch the clouds (I am not really that tall). I'm an introvert who enjoys making things with my hands, even if I'm not always good at it. There's something satisfying about seeing my cat curled up on a bed I made for her. I also like to run.... okay okay I jog..... I really like to walk fast okay.

I love music. I did some mood tracking using Daylio a little while back and I found that my mood was significantly better when I listened to music. Generally I like country, emo EDM, and 90s/00s pop rock, but at the moment I have a playlist featuring Ja Rule, Ashanti, and Jay-Z taking me home each day.

What am I looking for? Someone who sees me, appreciates me, and wants to be loved hard by someone who's willing to put in the effort. Someone who understands that the initial spark is just the beginning, and who wants to build something truly amazing for the long haul, and is okay with my cling. Someone who's interesting, engaging, and willing to share life's adventures with a goofy, serious, often confusing, but always hardworking romantic with his heart on his sleeve.
