Hello there,

Like many of you, I've scrolled through countless posts on this sub, and perhaps like you, I'm tired of feeling invisible in my own life. What happens if you take the chance to say "hello" and we get to know each other a little?

Maybe you'll see me here, all the way in South Africa (GMT 2), and we realise that we have something special.

So who am I in a few words? I love expressing myself, whether it's through writing, actions, or simply being of service to someone I care about. I truly thrive when I feel like I'm contributing to a partnership where we both value and appreciate each other. I do know that I can be a bit clingy and I do find that I get on a lot better with people that are "clingy" in return.

I have a love for animals. My small home has been taken over by birds, dogs, a cat, and even a little red lobster! I was never a cat person – actually, I used to despise them – but this little rescue has completely stolen my heart.

I'm playful and competitive. I'd love a partner who can challenge me in a game of chess, Scrabble, or anything else we can play across the distance. Or maybe you're a bookworm? We could share a virtual book club, discussing plots and characters (and maybe even placing a friendly wager on whodunnit!).

I'm tall, with a son who's the absolute best part about me. He says I'm so tall I can touch the clouds (I am not really that tall). I'm an introvert who enjoys making things with my hands, even if I'm not always good at it. There's something satisfying about seeing my cat curled up on a bed I made for her. I also like to run when the weather cooperates (it's freezing here right now, so my motivation has taken a dip).

What am I looking for? Someone who sees me, appreciates me, and wants to be loved hard by someone who's willing to put in the effort. Someone who understands that the initial spark is just the beginning, and who wants to build something truly amazing for the long haul. Someone who's interesting, engaging, and willing to share life's adventures with a goofy, serious, often confusing, but always hardworking romantic with his heart on his sleeve.
