Too many connections these days feel like two ships passing in the night— the interaction is brief, and gone before you know it.
I’m hoping to find something different, something that lasts. I believe that even in the midst of life’s chaos , two lost souls can truly find each other.
I’m a 45M, married, living in a roommate situation as an empty nester. I work in Tech in the SF Bay Area, and my interests are all over the map—from cooking (yes!), classic movies, and sci-fi to travel (I never say no to exploring new places). I’m also into those classic long walks on the beach and hiking (because really, do you even exist if you don’t hike?).
I’m hoping to connect with someone who’s also married or attached, in their 30s or 40s, someone who takes care of themselves , is kind(this is important) and keeps an open mind about everything.
Ideally, you’re in the SF Bay Area.
Let’s chat if you’re tired of surface-level connections and are looking for something genuine. I’m open, honest, and ready to find someone who feels the same. Let’s not just be passing ships and make a genuine connection.
The poem behind the thought is from 'The Theologian's Tale'
Ships that pass in the night, and speak each other in passing,
Only a signal shown and a distant voice in the darkness;
So on the ocean of life, we pass and speak one another,
Only a look and a voice, then darkness again and a silence.
