before the atv incident when Clara and Virginia were trying to express their support for Paige it came off so fake. As if they were pitying her and looking down on her for being in the situation and like they wanted to come off as so supportive of her but we're just trying to insert themselves into some drama.
notice how they both stand over Paige and do most of the talking in that scene instead of really listening and being there for Paige in a way that centers her not them.
It seemed like Erik was more interested in telling Chris what kind of man he needed to be and talking down to him. It was very patronizing especially coming from someone you hardly know...
I'm not defending Chris' behavior but when he called out their insincerity I was right there with him.
