Watching Season 12

I haven't watched MAFS since my high school classmate was on season 10. Season 12 started getting messy, when Chris first opened his mouth. Didn't think he could get any worse, but he did. Obviously Chris is the worst out them all but, I also have an issue with Erik and his belief that women and men can't be platonic friends. I can only assume that was his insecurity showing. Please tell me it gets better. I'm begging someone to say that this season as a whole gets better.
