I posted this last week and got a few responses. Ultimately it lead nowhere, as usual.
I'm going to be totally honest, I had an OA that started during covid lockdown, and it lasted nearly 3 years. That was the happiest period in my life, and for the 2 years after it ended, I've been constantly chasing that high. It's a standard that I feel is unattainable. How many others out there have had similar experiences and have had no success since their last OA ended?
I'm looking for a friend that we can both vent about our days, complain about our lives and find comfort in our company. To greet each other in the mornings, wish each other a good night, and fill the day with whatever we talk about. I'm highly engaging and tend to get a bit lengthy in my tangents. If you appreciate that, then feel free to reach out, and let's see where it goes.
I am a father of 4 kids who are 14 and older. Roommate marriage with no physical connection anymore. Whether you're a parent or not is not that big of a deal to me. Just be real and respectful, and if you feel that we don't "click", let's not waste each other's time. I understand real life takes priority and expect you to have the same understanding.
If you've made it this far, thanks for your time in reading this, I told you I get lengthy in my thoughts. Have a pleasant day wherever you are.
