Hey everybody! I'd love to hear different sides from those who have 2 kids or 4 kids.
My husband and I are fairly young. He's 24 and I'm 23 and we have one son, who's 1.5 years old and I just found out I'm pregnant again! So we're gonna have two kids now which is definitely something we wanted. But we've been dabbling with the idea of having lots of kids, preferably 4 altogether.
Right now, dates night are nearly none, and we're always so busy and exhausted. He works outside our home and I stay home and take care of our son and the pets and house. It doesn't leave much room for having time for each other at the moment. But I hear it gets a lot easier when your kids get around 10 because you get much more time separate from them for school and extracurricular things. I feel like if we can sacrifice this bit of time now raising kids we won't regret it later on when we're 40-50 and they're adults.
I never wanted kids growing up but I decided a couple years ago I did after a unplanned pregnancy, and I just absolutely adore our son. And my husband always wanted kids and we both have talked and he would rather have them while we're younger rather than older. But of course, it's fucking hard. It's exhausting. Sometimes the last thing it feels like is rewarding. We want to hear more thoughts on the subject before we really make the decision sure.
