He's a freaking saint! It's been a month since I went into septic shock, almost died and had a huge hole of skin cut out of me right at the right thigh crease and butt crease. It's been the most horrid experience and my husband has been fantastic every step of the way. He saved my lite by getting me to the ER. when He did. Just so much to be greatful for.

I just had my 1 month wound check to see when we can schedule the skin grafts. Hallelujah of hallelujahs, it's healed wonderfully to a point they don't need to do a skingraft.

My husband has been meticulous about following every single direction they have given him about how to dress this wound properly. He's watched videos and nurse after nurse if he's doing it right. He's doing an amazing job!

All I can do is lay here and keep all pressure, friction, sweat, and dirt off the area. So that leaves me only able to pay around a he useless. I'm a homemaker, mom, wife. Right now I can't do anything because of the limitations I have. I feel so damn bad my husband and son are doing my job, plus their own jobs, and husband has to be my nurse also. They have to alternate their time away from the home so they can take care of me. Mostly just anything to keep me from walking around the house. I can go to the restroom to pee then right back into bed. that's it. That's my life. I have the best possible care from these two.

This man really does deserve a lot great things in this world. He's been so patient with this whole process and been involved in what therapy I will be needing. He's doing all that for me. I appreciate it so much especially because I just don't have the brain power back yet to keep this all in line. He's got this and he's amazing! I love him more than ought to be allowed!!!
