I caught my husband sexting a girl last week, this is the third time this has happened in the last 6 years. I am seriously contemplating divorce but am willing to go to counseling, because in my opinion we would need it whether we stay together or not.

Ever since my husband has been wanting to talk to me everyday about this. He wants me to say we will not get divorced and we will work it out. I have continually asked for space and to be left alone. I have told him I am not ready to talk about this with him and there has not be even 24 hours that he has left me alone. He is constantly pulling me aside because he wants to talk.

He is desperate to “fix our marriage” and has begged me not to break the family up. He has said “we always discussed that divorce was never an option for us. That we would “always work things out”.

I am insanely conflicted and curious what your input is. Has anyone encountered this before and if so, what did you do?
