My fiance just asked me if I wanted to get married this weekend. We had been planning a trip this weekend for almost a week now, and if you randomly just asked me this question today. I have already started planning the wedding for next year.And he hasn't been much help. I've always wanted something small but I wanted to at least invite immediate family in the biggest day of my life. But I feel that it might be a little rude if we do it this weekend because I had promised my brother that we wouldn't get married until he married to his fiancé in October. Should I go for it and just keep it secret or do I stand firm about wanting family to be there for my big day as well as keeping my promise to my brother about waiting till after he got married?
