Has anyone ever tried discussing your relationship with your partner & there is little response on the other end? It's not an argument. It's not a discussion. It's literally "okay, I'll do better". It's not even a conversation of how? More & more as of late- after 6 years together- I am acknowledging just how emotionally stunted he is. I tried to explain how I am beginning to feel taken advantage of & there is an emotional disconnect & instead of being invested in finding out why I feel this way, I got "I'll do better". Then when I tried to get further into my feelings, it was "I'm sorry it's not intentional" & just moved on from it by saying he loves me & he'll do better. Giving no room for further discussion. And just goes on like i never even mentioned it. How do I penetrate this level of stonewalling?
