Looks like the Mercedes dealership on Kennedy south of Hwy 7 is going to be replaced by two towers.
I hope it won't be an eye sore like the building across the street which has no character, or green space and little parking.
I've been disappointed in the architecture quality in most new buildings over the past 20 years. With few exceptions we look like Scarbourgh of the '70s. The esthetics of Markham Center are not great either. Plain condos with little green space and commercial space with no parking.
At least the Mercedes dealership had some curb appeal. Why not build on some of the brown space we have? Seems like a waste.
