Why put shredder on Mini if no use?

this is specifically to the people who have miniguns without basher and throw it on while holding thousands of 5mm. is it just a fun and heavy decoration? as a heavy user myself i don’t understand why other heavy users do this to themselves, it goes up to 40 carry weight with a non-prime/default barrel mod :(
