Title: Should I Give Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Another Chance or Try Mario & Luigi: Brothership?
Hi everyone,
I’m stuck on whether I should buy Mario Kart 8 Deluxe again or try Mario & Luigi: Brothership.
A little backstory: I bought Mario Kart 8 Deluxe about four years ago when I had a Switch Lite. At the time, I didn’t enjoy it that much. Playing alone felt a bit underwhelming, and the solo content didn’t really keep me hooked. Plus, I didn’t have anyone to play with back then. Eventually, I ended up selling it.
Now, I have a regular Nintendo Switch, and I’m wondering if the experience might be better this time around. I think the multiplayer aspect of Mario Kart is fun, but I’m worried I might find it repetitive again if I end up playing solo most of the time.
On the other hand, I’m also considering Mario & Luigi: Brothership. I’ve never played a Mario & Luigi game before, but I’ve heard they’re fun. I’m curious if it might be a better choice for someone looking for a more solo-focused game with more variety.
For those of you who’ve played both, which one would you recommend? Is Mario Kart 8 Deluxe worth revisiting with a full-sized Switch and (hopefully) some multiplayer opportunities? Or should I try something completely new with Mario & Luigi: Brothership?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
