How Have the Mariners Improved Since Last Year?

I think one of the most disappointing parts of this year is that the off-season depended a lot on small changes, that would hopefully lead to sustained success from last year, and ultimately, growth from all our players.
Personally, I haven’t seen many real improvements besides Kelenic, so outside of him, do we see any improved bright spots from the Mariners that could end up being the difference maker down the road?
