Need advice on how to quit. Anything helps!

Been smoking since 14, I’m now 22. I want to drastically reduce my use from everyday to once every once in a while, if not completely quit.
I’ve taken T breaks, or had periods where I didn’t smoke often, but now it’s everyday and it seems harder to let it go than previous times.
Any advice is welcome. How did you quit? I’m legit contemplating joining a 12 step program for how fed up I am of feeling so unmotivated.
