Advice on How to Smoke Live Resin Wax -- Can I use a Dab Pen?

Is it ok to use a Dab Pen to smoke Live Resin Wax? It was given to me after a friend found out I medicate for pain purposes; so I'm a definite novice on Wax THC. My tolerance is pretty high for flowerz and edibles don't really hit me.
I really would prefer to vape it using a pen than getting a dab-bong.
