Alright so I switched over to edibles a few years back and I love it.
I dose about once or twice a week and I get an almost psychedelic experience every time plus it lasts for like 2-3 hours at a peak and like 5-6 hours in general. So I get a ton of time to enjoy the journey which I really like.
I have always done the simple method of using either whole non-salted butter or coconut oil.
I melt it with a bit of water in a pot like all the instructions say to avoid burning.
I cook my good quality sativa cannabis bud in the oven at 220.
then I mix it all together and let it simmer lightly for a few hours and then strain and freeze.
I freeze because it lasts like half a year or more and an ounce makes so damn much.
I have always heard the strongest ratio is like one ounce of fire sativa bud to a pound of butter or coconut oil.
People say if you add to much more weed or reduce the fat you can lose out so I want to avoid that.
Anyone have any resources or first hand experience of how much you could reduce the fat before you start losing value?
