Looking for adult classes for fun

So, family recently had an intresting idea for being social. They recomended trying to take some classes for the fun of it. Well, didnt really work out. Improv class for 1000, looking at a good 4 grand to audit a class at KSU plus a butt load of paper work. Not exactly what I was hoping for. Does anyone know some kind of laid back adult education class like cooking or something I could sign up for?
