I need some help, i run about 80km a week, i habe a question

My question is should I carry on training for a half marathon or should I straight go into a marathon I run at an average 4:50 to 5:00 km pace on average, I need some help physique wise, because people have told me that if I need to lose about 3-4kg and I would be a much better runner, I'm just a bit lost, I also need to know if I should go for quicker long runs, so a 7k at 4 30 pace or just keep to what I'm doing on average which is a 11-17k at 4:50 to 5:00
