Never been a runner but I do work out pretty frequently and live a pretty active lifestyle. Some friends wanted to do something challenging so we decided to run a marathon this June! This is my longest run so far in training and it felt good, although I think I was running too fast. Iām 5ā11 and about 250, so this is quite the endeavor lol.
Currently I am doing one long run a week and 2-3 nice and easy recovery runs.
On my recovery run days I am really slowing things down and getting some lifting in as well. Prioritizing single leg movements and lots of hip and core work.
Any tips/suggestions/critique would be more than welcome!
