Here are some blueberry facts 🫐
Post Body

🫐 Blueberries (Vaccinium sp.) are angiosperms (flowering plants) that reproduce by cross pollination (as opposed to self pollination).🫐

🫐 Blueberries consist of many species of the genus Vaccinium, such as V. tenellum, V. boreale, V. koreanum, and others. Cranberries, blackberries, and huckleberries are also in this genus. 🫐

🫐Most commercial blueberries are grown from species that are endemic to eastern North America. But there are plenty of other species in the PNW, South America, Europe, and Asia. 🫐

🫐The color of the berry itself changes depending on maturity. From pale green, to pink, to purple, and finally blue. 🫐

🫐One of the most fun people on here was in fact, a blueberry. He (or she? I mean, fruits are actually mature plant ovaries, sooo idk) will be missed πŸ˜”πŸ«
