Making RNG great again, with QoL changes.
Post Body

I'll be short and to the point since i know most of you won't read it if i do it otherwise: I believe that RNG in MS2 needs the addition of more bad luck protection (so that you feel some progress even when you fail and some bullshit situations don't happen). It could be done in some simple ways, for example:

-A mechanic similar to failstacks should be added to gemstone upgrading. Maybe with actual failstacks, or maybe some of the dust wouldn't be consumed after a failure.

-When failing to open the 2nd gem socket, we should get an item that works as a 0 socket catalyst.

-When failing to open the 3rd gem socket, we should get an item that works as a 1 socket catalyst.

-When revealing rusted keys, along with the chance of getting either a B1 or a B4, the game could give you a new character bound item called "Golden Key Fragment". By collecting 10 of those, the player could make a B4 key. That would not only make it less frustrating to get B4 keys, it would also give a purpose to reveal more keys after the first one.

-Catching 5000 pets and not getting an epic is ridiculous and happens way too often. I suggest that we should get a new level on the pet taming skill, and the reward to reaching that new level would be a box with a random character bound epic pet.

-Legendary gear takes longer to collect and it's already more expensive to enchant. Each fail should give you at least 2 more failstacks than it gives currently.

[Edit] -Level 50 dungeons should give you 1 fragment of that dungeon, and with some fragments (based on which dungeon you're running), you could open a box to give you 1 account bound item of your choice from that dungeon's drop pool. For example, after running 100 Balrogs, you could choose between the wings, the horns or the earrings; or you could get a epic normal dungeon weapon after 30 runs. The numbers could change, btw.

-After rerolling your bonus stats on a item, the price for the next reroll should NOT increase. It should either stay always the same or it should slightly decrease, down to a minimum value of around 50% of the price of the first try.

And those are the canges that i could think about which would help the game. Feel free to comment on them or give new suggestions.
