question about nx and merit.

so in literally all other MMOs ive played the premium currency you buy on the official website is the same premium currency in game, but for some reason that isnt the case with this game.... i bought $10 worth of "NX" on the official maple site and its showing up on my account for the website but ingame i have to somehow convert that NX to blue meret. my issue is that i have the steam version, and the steam version seems to not be able to give me option to convert, only buy directly using paypal or steam wallet.

my question is how do i convert my 10k NX coins to meret or am i screwed out of $10 because im using the steam version...?
