This something that I hardly ever encounter in real life, but today, I was accelerating from a stop, and I had some guy in a Toyota Highlander behind me who was incredibly mad at me for taking an extra second to shift. He was laying on the horn after I lost speed for a split second to complete the shift. Then he followed me for a bit while laying on the horn.
I have a 2004 honda accord with a five speed manual. It’s a little old, so I try to be easy on it. In my ten years of driving experience, I’ve never had this happen.
Are people in giant automatic SUVs just clueless? Or does my driving skill need some work? This is Vancouver Canada driving for you lol.
I did a couple times when i first started, my ranger has kind of a screwed up trans, so the 1-2 shift is really stiff, you gotta slam that bitch into gear or it takes forever.
