Running Arch on a Kabini/Temash APU (GCN 1.0) laptop. (Jaguar CPU cores, Codename Temash APU)
Would Manjaro be a better solution for getting OpenCL to work?
- Enabled CIK/SI flags in amdgpu.conf and radeon.conf per Arch Wiki
- Installed all Mesa packages.
- Using radv for Vulkan, and Clover for OpenCL but modern OpenCL like AMDs is required as clover is… something.
- How can I enable OpenCL for rusticl?
- or: how can I use an official AMD packaged OpenCL Solution?
Thanks!!! (Laptop is my niece’s — she is starting high school this fall and I have a neural compute stick for her with this as well and a few USB webcams.
She is practicing with Python at the moment, and wants to work on ML stuff to see which cats have entered and left her room, which cat is sleeping, which cat is awake, silly-fun stuff like that, etc)
Money would be nice for something new. No money. Someday.
